Default 15 Years - It doesn't matter.....

The guys dead and lets face it he was dead long before he ever put that gun to his chin/lips. What gets me more about this sort of thing is that people want to believe he was murdered as an antidote to the fact that Cobain was a very selfish little boy and basically a terrible junkie. He didn't love you, the fans, he was only interested in escapism and the indulgence of his own ego. A man of infinite contradictions, not because he was a genius, but because he didn't have the wantons to be honest with himself. Though he did have a brilliant understanding of media manipulation and his main talent was to expose a generation of kids like me to a much larger world of art (he was a far better artist than song writer)

Lets face it though the guy is worth a lot more to people dead than he was alive. What percentage of Nirvana's record sales are posthumous. People love a myth and thats what he's become, just like Morrison etc.

I loved Nirvana back in the day and put up with all the crap i used to read in the magazines i bought with my hard earned cash. I even shed a tear the day i was at a disco and a friend came up to me and told me Cobain had killed someone (obviously he got it wrong which i found out the next day). But after the fall out and listening to Love read his note i just thought 'you prick'. He should of just done that shitty acoustic album with Stipe and given it all up. But yeah as i said - selfish little boy.
