What says you? Pearl Jam never was "heavy metal". Pearl Jam plays and has always played rock, but it was slightly alternative in the beginning, therefore they got popular as grunge came into the picture.
Also, posers are people who think they're cool, and overdo their "style". That's not even close to Eddie Vedder, man. Pearl Jam was grunge, but they're not much anymore. Get over it, dude.
