why is nirvana constantly ignored by the rock hall of fame?
:x
year after year i see so-called honorees inducted into this society of rock notibles,people who supposedly changed the "FACE" of rock music- who more than nirvana should be honored for achieving this? they changed the sound,the dress code,etc...

Are you kidding? people all over the place call nirvana overrated! their constantly being put on "best 100 rock bands" or "most influential rock bands" lists.

yeah on like mtv or sumthin but here where talk'n' the big thing being in the rock hall of fame and just becasue there put on a mtv list doesnt mean that the rock hall of fame is gonna agree which i think is stupid but whatever anywasy yeah that also have to wait for a setin time after there last album and then be nominated and when they when they go through the big thing of being put in the fame....again.....

i really don't care if they are in a list of best bands or in the hall of fame or not... i don't care about what people think about nirvana, as long as i like them myself. I don't need a hall of fame to like them [nirvana].

yeah, you're right, it is irrelevant...but it's good (and it makes me feel good in a way) to see public and worldwide recognition of the quality, or at least of the influence Nirvana had and has on music...

yeaaaa...i can see your point about it being okay for others to condemn nirvana as long as you like it yourself, but i don't think that's really the case with rock magazines. i mean, rolling stones love nirvana, if you know what i mean.
 As for the elitist assholes on the internet who think nirvana is for jerks..well..fuck them. i heard nirvana fans are the most annoying. :twisted: Along with radiohead and metallica. YEA NIRVANAAAA
