Did Kurt Cobain Fake His Own Death?
Is it possible with the amount of money he had that he could pay off enough people to get certain things to fake his own death. That he could pay off a family for a body and the police for setting it all up? I am just wondering if this is possible. Not if it actually happened. It is hard to put yourself in the situation he was in. So ask yourself. What would you do ? Just a Thought!

No. I don't think it's possible. Then the whole world is one big conspiracy theory.
If i have to imagine myself in his situation, and if i didn't want the fame anymore, i would just quit the band. Not faking my death. No way that's gonna work. Maybe if you move to an uninhabited island.

unfortunately, I can't believe that, as much as i sometimes would like to. I don't think he was that kind of person, I don't think he would elaborate all that much about his own way of escape. I don't think it would have cost him that much to just up and leave the band and everything, if he really had wanted to leave, or if he had been left to make his own decisions.

I know...it would have been ok for me to know that he lied to eveyone, that he made us all go through hell like this...ok, as long as i knew he's still alive and possibly happy somewhere...

I really hope so, but I donīt think he was faking his own death... And how could anyone steal his ashes if he isnīt dead??

The fingerprints from the autopsy were Kurt's it's not impossible to fake finger prints but it is extremely difficult in this day and age so it would have been pretty impossible back then. And contrary to Courtney's blabber they did not fingerprint him for Identification, his face was fully intact and finger prints were taken by guide lines of forensic investigation (incredibly half arsed investigation at that) And if you know enough about Kurt you'd know that he was an extremely honest humble person and would never pull such a stunt.
