Yes, it's quite intriguing how he develops himself into this...animal. How he is 100% independent from other people. But hey, it's a book, everything is possible..
But that whole outcast-thing might have appealed a lot to Kurt.

I think that Kurt wouldn't have wanted everybody to read into his lyrics and work them out. Too many bad things happened to him. But I'm not going to say what songs on In Utero or Incesticide.

You can't write a song - or really anything - without a purpose or underlying meaning. Kurt was probably just sick of people drawing a lot into his lyrics.
