ok smashing pumpkinns are good,got a few good songs.Disarm is a great song.nowhere even close to being such an amazing band like Nirvana.

Smashing Pumpkins are one of my favorite bands of all time! I really need to see them live.
Out of the albums I have heard from them, I would put them in this order: 1. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness 2. Siamese Dream 3. Adore 4. Gish

 My friends don't like the Smashing Pumpkins, they want to skip em at the festical. But i disagree, i mean: you get the chance to see them, and you already paid, so why not go?

SP are great. i love his voice, its not like anything else... i have Siamese dream,mellon colle, and AVA ADORE. though siamses dream was my favorite album.
though my friend said he saw him and said corgan's a huge druggie....oh well still love 'em -randomaly yells- "THE KILLER IN ME IS THE KILLER IN YOU!" lol

Smashing Pumpkins have the some of the best guitar solos, Corgan is an underrated guitar god, he has a deft hand for if not writing poetry in his lyrics at times, being very honest and self explorative. I agree that that Corgan is not a better artist than Kurt, but the band is just as good as the talent in Nirvana: Corgan is a better guitarist, Cobain is a better composer. The Pumpkins have changed over the years, Nirvana didn't get the chance to really adapt to the scene.
Oh, and Gish easily has better music than Mellon Collie, Siamese dream is the height of the Pumpkin's ability. My opinion.
